I love Last of the Summer Wine. Seen nearly all the episodes up until Compo died, so gradually buying all the series/episodes prior to that for nostalgia. Haven't watched this DVD yet, but just know it will be great.

A classic at a bargain price

With Foggy established as the ring leader, 'Wine' really got into its familiar stride with these two series. Gone was the edge of the first two series and much of the bickering in the third and fourth. Now the terrible trio just got into silly scrapes for the fun of it and our enjoyment. Great comedy at a silly price - buy!

Unfortunately this DVD could not be played on my DVD player stating_ wrong region

Some DVD's that come from Amazon are OK in Australia other wont play

this was a great series.gentle comedy that has a relaxing feeling,even today it is still the best comedy.i never tire of watching and always will.peter

Every episode a gem...I personally loved a Bicycle Made For Three.
The shots of Compo and Foggy cycling by a wall were hilarious

I do believe all this comes good because of the presence of Foggy. Brian Wilde was such a talented actor. It is still a good show now but Clegg,Compo and Foggy together were the best combination
