Missing two characters.
Review date: 2010-05-21 Rating: 4 out of 10
This is a poor relation to the previous 7 seasons as Eric and Kelso are only in one or two episodes. The script seems a lot weaker than previously, its just not as good without these two people.

no kelso, no forman = no 70's showReview date: 2009-07-16 Rating: 6 out of 10without kelso and forman it's not the same. a few good laughs, but not as good as season 1 - 7Poor end to a hilarious series (May Contain Spoilers)Review date: 2009-03-25 Rating: 6 out of 10I have always love the show and had the previous 7 series on DVD but the show is let down by the lack of two of it's main characters for giant chunks of the show. With Eric gone to Africa and Kelso gone to work in Chicago Randy enters the series and unfortunately cannot replace either of the departed cast members. This show was always about the dynamic of the cast working together and it just didnt quite work in the final series.
Of course there are still a couple of fantastic episodes like Leo turning Hydes Record shop into a Sex & Drug den, but over all the series is a let down to what went before it.The groove is goneReview date: 2009-02-21 Rating: 4 out of 10For the most part I really enjoyed 'That 70s Show' for the first 7 seasons. There was the odd poor episode but generally it was inventive and lots of fun. However, season 8 seems to have suffered not only the departure of two of the show's stars but the quality of writing. There's little imagination on show here and far too many obvious gags about obvious things (the bar jokes about men's wives that feature in several episodes are particularly tired). Furthermore, the introduction of new characters doesn't work at all. Josh Meyers as Randy is about as wooden as a two by four and Jud Tyler makes the job of being Hyde's stripper wife more dull than I thought possible. There are moments of the old sparkle but they're few and far between. The show does finish well (apart from the dodgy end credits) but on the evidence of this box set it would have been better for the seventies to end a year earlier than it did.
Goodbye Wisconsin! Not as bad as other reviewers say...Review date: 2009-02-01 Rating: 8 out of 10That 70s show series 8 was not as bad as other reviewers say. To be honest on one of the episodes I laughed harder than I've laughed at any other episode of That 70's Show.
To give you an idea of the said episode: Bob drives up to a closed Fatso burger and tries to order some food from the booth while fez shouts silly and cheeky things at him - Superb!
I think another reviewer on Amazon mentions Jackie and Fez moving in together and that it is 'just weird', but that person makes it sound like they are getting together when really Fez is just helping Jackie out by letting her stay in a seperate room of his flat for a short time.
Eric missing from all of the episodes except the last one was bad though and just didn't seem right as he was a big part of the whole of That 70s show.
Also the random new character, who comes from nowhere, I can't even remember where and he sort of moves into Erics place and he seems to act as if he has known all the other characters for years - Weird!
If you've bought all the other series of That 70's show you should go ahead and buy this one too. It's far better than the series that was all about Kitty and her PMS!
